Stadium Escape: A break between innings

The kids still play Stadium Escape. New iterations are on pause while I start a new job and the family makes room for school, sports, and other activities.

Stadium Escape is taking a break from development. The kids still play it, and I’m holding off on new iterations for now.

I’m starting a new job, while school, sports, and other activities are keeping the kids busy. The time we were spending building, testing, and deciding what to change is going toward those things.

The last update ended with a promise to write about what the boys found in the next round of testing. This is a different kind of check-in: we’ve decided to let the current game stand for a while.

Building Stadium Escape with Austin gave us something we could make decisions about together, play, argue over, and improve. The kids still returning to it is a result I’m happy to leave alone for now. There doesn’t need to be another park or another feature waiting behind every session.

We may pick it back up later. If the time and interest line up, we can come back with fresh ideas and see what sounds fun to build next. There’s no schedule for that.

For now, the build log is paused and the game remains there to enjoy.

Play Stadium Escape on Roblox.
